Life is constant growth. From the time of our inception, we are hardwired to grow. Everything in the Universe is either growing or dying- there is no third alternative. When we stop growing in any area of our life: spiritually, emotionally, mentally, socially, financially, we become to feel stagnant. We feel as if we have a hit a wall. Whenever we encounter this wall (and we all will) we have a few options. We can try beating our head against this wall over and over asking God, “Why?!” Or, we can tap into the infinite intelligence that resides in us as Believers.
When we have hit a wall it is a great indicator that we need to “level up.” We need to both tap into hidden resources that we didn’t even know were there and we have to grow in a specific area (spiritually, emotionally, mentally, socially, financially) to solve our problem. Either way, a great system to achieve growth is by setting S.M.A.R.T. goals.
